Wired connection: We recommend using at least 25Mbps if you are choosing to connect directly to the modem. If you do not have any other device connected you should be fine with this. Wifi Connection: If you are connecting via wifi, depending on your home setup, we recommend Mbps. This will vary depending on where your modem is located in relation to your iptv box.

Iptv keeps freezing freezing after seconds. Thread starter eazzzzzzzzzy Start date Apr 28, Hi all, New to the iptv side of things and I've been testing it out on my zgemma and firestick. Both devices Load up ok but when I choose a channel it plays for around seconds and then stops completely. I change the channels over and the exact same happens again.
Any ideas why this is happening? Could it be the isp blocking or slowing down my internet connection. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk. Do a speed test on the broadband,That will most likley be the cause. Thank you for the reply.Pure beauty therapy
I carried out a speed test and I'm getting 8meg. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk. That will be the maximum speed but i would say that is the issue,Some providers say iptv will run at 5mb but it always freezes,Best on fibre.
Last edited: Apr 29, Just need to find a good supplier really and one with the xcxtream app which will give you a full bouquets list and epg. I changed provider and the quality improved and the freezing stopped. The zgemma box tends to struggle with hd channels but sd there shouldn't be any issues.
Has to be a supplier I'm on h2s and it doesn't miss a beat, full Epg also in the photo and my setup so if you have the speed and your getting a direct feed not Wi-Fi then it must be supplier also wooshbuild is best firmware to run with xtream plugin hope this helps you out.Log in.

I have windows xp installed and I have a video card that has mb of ram. I am unsure of the brand of video card or further specs. I bought it off of ebay some time ago. My problem is that when I try to play streaming video it wants to freeze a lot. I have already given more space for the virtual memory on my computer: I think 4 to 8 gb and I have set my hardware acceleration way down but these changes haven't helped.
I can download and play movies fine, I only seem to have problems when playing streaming video like from hulu. I have used other computers and they don't seem to have as much problems with this so I hope that somebody knows what I need to do to solve this problem. Thanks in advance for any help. When you say freezing, do you mean just the video freezes, or the whole system?
If its just the video, it could have something to do with your internet connection.STB emulator pro. How to set up and GET it running properly for the best IPTV experience.
Is the computer on wired internet or wireless? I am using a router but it is hardwired and not wireless. By freezing, I mean the picture will freeze like a still shot of the movie for a few seconds and then it will resume playing.
The big problem is that it does it repeatedly. I find that some websites are worse than others so I thought it might be due to bandwidth but other computers don't seem to have as much problems and they are comparable to mine and not faster. Updated your windows, java and flash.? Sounds like a software issue to me. Freezing streams could be caused by many things, not always that logical and clear. However this doesn't really sound like a hardware issue.
I'd start with updating the basic requirements to watch a stream, just like Fimbles suggested above: Flash, Java, and I'd update your graphics drivers too, while you're at it. For that you'll need to know the brand of your graphics card.
PC turns off without warning – what to do? | Fixed
A direct-x window will pop up displaying all sorts of things. Open the "Display" tab in there and your graphics card brand will be listed there. Once you find out the brand, just google for "[brand] drivers" or go to the homepage of it's manufacturer. Secondly, I'd check if another computer on the same network also has trouble watching the streams if possible ofcourse.
Lastly, I'd check your browser-settings for anything about streaming, or bandwidth-usage. Because some browsers have automaticly set a bandwith-limiter which makes sure you don't go above a certain download rate. I have also tried all I know to tweak my system to get better performance but you are the first one to advise me about the bandwidth limiter on my browser. I will almost bet that is the problem although I will not get sidetracked on that only.
I have other computers on the same network that don't seem to have this problem so I am pretty sure it is just something with my computer.
